yeah someone should have warned me!!!! So we are trying to get all the stuff done for this offer on the house. My real estate agent might as well have moved in. I can't believe how much paper work there is to buying a house.

But then we got a call from our current land lord who told us that she found a buyer for our house and that no matter what we have to be out by the 30th of June. Well, throw that in with an 8 hour class that you have to go take which you also have to find a babysitter for because kids are not allowed, with family coming into town to stay at your house and they have already planned a party for the day of your 8 hour class. And we don't even know if we will get the loan program so this class could be a waste of our time. I am at work can't call anyone and all I can think of is what I have to get done, and can't do because I am at work. All of a sudden it gets really hot and I can't seem take a deep breath. So I leave work early to come home to a house full of Glen's family (who I didn't think were coming until later) and I walk into my house into my room and I am there for an hour before anyone besides my two year old non talking daughter knows that I am there. Can we all say PANIC ATTACK? That's what I am calling it. I slept for a couple of hours.

I was able to get up the next day, get the babysitter and make it to this class on time and in the right place, seeing as how we weren't sure where the class was or what time it started. $30.00 for the sitter and 8 hours later we are done with that class and off to entertain the family. The person bring the hot dogs and hamburgers didn't even show up until 8:30 and we were supposed to be eating at 7:00. Glen announces that we are expecting........... a mortgage payment! So now everyone wants to go see the new place. So we call the agent and he can't find his keys but says to go over and he will find them and meet us there. The whole family is outside in our soon to be yard at 9:30 at night and they are just not being quiet at all.... our future neighbors just love that I am sure. So then after we got done there we went home to a couple of people sleeping at our house and 5 kids to get ready for church on Sunday. Well I went to bed and got up Sunday to make breakfast for the guest and get them on their way so that after they leave we go back to bed and then to make pies all day instead of church. I know I am going to heck but at least I will have a house maybe.......we are now playing the waiting game.

SO WE MADE AN OFFER

Okay so we have this awesome real estate agent! Josh has been looking for a house for us since before he was a real estate agent. And he will take us to see houses all over the place and I have never been super happy with any of them. They all needed work done before we could move it however I am not afraid of work I just need to be able to live there and make the payment and do the fix up stuff. Well on Monday I got a text that said I found your house. So I went to see it. This is what I saw.....

okay it's cute from the out side right? Well the worst part has always been the inside. So I didn't want to judge the house from it's cover... Then I saw this..

This is the entry way in to the house!

This is the Living Room! My new couch will fit!!!!! Yeah because I really like my couch!

This is the kitchen... we may have to update the counters and cupboards but we could save up to do that!

This is the Master Bedroom.... Yeah I know what would I do with a fireplace? Maybe I will put a Mantel on it and hang the stockings in my room!
There are two more rooms for the kids a mud/laundry room. And there is a back patio with a garden area and a fenced in yard for the kids. One Bathroom... we would hopefully add on in a couple of years and add a master bath who knows... I am just really excited that about 1:00 pm today, May 15th I got the phone call that they had accepted our offer. So if we get the financing and everything together our 9th Anniversary present to each other is A HOUSE!

Should we stay or should we Go!

So a couple of weeks ago we got a call from our Land Lord. They are unable to keep the house and close the loan on their new home. So we have to move. They said taht we can stay until it sells. But we have to keep it clean so that we can show it. So we have been looking around. And all we can find is junkers... I wouldn't mind a junker that we could fix up. But I would have to have the money to fix it up and the money to make the mortgage. That is where the problem lies. So since we have been frustrated and because we have been a little bit stressed over getting ready for the baptsim and everything I decided not to worry about it for a couple of weeks... besides it's not like there was a sign in the yard or anything..... wait I think I spoke too soon. I went home yesterday and there is the sign and it is listed online. Okay so no one has come to see it we are still okay right? Okay so I need to quit talking out loud because the real estate agent called me this morning and wanted to show the house today. So here is my question. This house is listed for $345,000.00! With the land and the size of the house it might be worth that much. But with the market how fast is this going to sell. So should I find a new place or should I wait to see if this sells and if and when it does, we pray that we find something? There is always this I guess.

Anthony's Big Day!

This Saturday is the day! Anthony has chosen to get baptized. He is really excited... I think. We have had a couple of family home evenings on Baptism and I hope that he understands how big of a deal this is!

My parents will make if home just in time. They come in the 1st at about midnight. Now if I can just find a tie and a belt and get there on time I think things will turn out.

It has taken a while to get things going. We found out that we have to move again because they are selling our house so we decided to see if we could baptize Anthony in the Old Ward. With Nathan's help we finally got the okay just this past Sunday. And Thanks to my friend Tiffany from the Credit Union we have these awesome announcements. She went out of town before we knew where we were going to do the baptism so she took her laptop with her and emailed me the file when we finally had the correct information! Now we just have to get a few more things and get the program printed and we will be set.

NO DEAL!!!!!

Yep they told me NO DEAL! I went up to Salt Lake and entered the line which started up and beyond West Temple... 2 1/2 hours after that I was in the parking lot of RC Willey and then 2 1/2 hours after that I was walking in the door of RC Willey and 2 hours after that I was at the front of the line.... yep I made it to the front of the line. At which point I had 20 seconds to tell this deal or no deal employee who I was and a little bit about me which had to be something to make them remember me by...so it had to be cute or funny or catchy or something. Well they choose my brother in law to go on to answer some more questions..and then he was chosen to answer a few more but then they sent him home. You ask would I do it again.... you bet but I would definitely do the sleepover to get in instead of standing in line. I did get one thing out of this!!!
You got it 7 hours in line and I came home with a blistering sunburn on my face an neck. Nothing a little aloe and frozen veggies can't fix right! Man it was fun!
